Knott's Scary Farm Sure, Knott's Scary Farm has shocking shows and 1,200 ghouls, ghosts and
goblins lurking around every corner. But the main appeal of the world's
biggest and scariest Halloween party has always been the elaborate walk- and
ride-through attractions, each designed with intricate sets, detailed
storylines, heart-stopping special effects and live monster talent.
The Scary Farm serves up 10 specially themed attractions,
including MAZES...sure to keep the blood of fright fans curdling
well into the night. By popular demand, we've brought back seven of our most
popular walk- and ride-throughs from the past - but beware, we've made some
not-so-subtle changes to ensure that these tried andtrue favorites are more
terrifying then ever!
Madison Scare Garden," an annual haunted house presented at the legendary
New York City venue. Kirchner and his Halloween Productions crew were among
a team of designers who helped to create the effects at the mega-haunted
presentation. This is one awesome haunted experience, one you ought to get in on.
The largest Halloween-only attraction is Spookyworld, located west of
Boston, Mass. With multiple haunted houses, a haunted hayrides horror
museum, and dark rides, the theme park offers grand-scale scary fun.
Tabatha" from the "BeWitched" TV show is all grown up & will be at
SpookyWorld! Erin Murphy will be here From Thursday, October 1st through
Sunday, October 11th! Linda Blair, star of the horror icon "The Exorcist",
Champion of green pea soup, & also having dozens of films to her credit will
be appearing live here at Spooky World from Monday, October 12th through
Saturday, October 17th.
The Six Flags Great America themeparks are once again offering "Fright Fest." At Six Flags,
promotional emphasis is being placed on the total
show package, which features several new and returning shows, with nearly
150 actors and technicians. The event here is family oriented, with no
overtly frightening activities.

The MacCabre Family fiendishly invites you to a Gothic Halloween tour of
their home, Castle BloodTM . Come meet the "interesting" denizens of the
castle in all their dark, morbid forms, without all the chainsaws and ax
murderers. This award winning den of evil is filled with high quality
production values and special effects, not to mention the interactive
creatures that roam its halls.
Sesame Place: The Count's Halloween Spooktacular Located in Langhorne, Pa., near Philadelphia, the park is based on the
popular Sesame Street television program and is geared to families with
children ages 3 through 13. Without a severed head in sight, Sesame Place
foregoes typical haunted-house thrills. Instead the focus is on safe,
nonthreatening Halloween festivities. "We want our guests to come dressed in
costume," says the park's Sharla Feldscher. "We have trick-or-treat stations
and elaborate decorations. There are great photo opportunities. |
